Asthma
Asthma is a sensitive condition which swells and narrows up airways, so that one finds it difficult to breathe. The condition can get severe at times and the patient needs to be relieved immediately by an inhaling spray.
Symptoms
Some common symptoms of Asthma are difficulty in breathing, chest tightness or pain, coughing or wheezing attacks, a whistling or wheezing sound when exhaling, troubled sleeping etc.
Prevention
Since there is no way to prevent Asthma, some preventions from Asthma attacks and ways to get in control of a severe condition are the following as prescribed in the Asthma Action Plan and Medication:
- Getting vaccinated for influenza and Pneumonia
- Identifying and avoiding Asthma triggers
- Monitoring breathing and paying attention to an increase in the use of quick-relief inhalers.
